Dear Steve,

I have been running your engines now for 3 years. Our Top Sportsman Todd Bevis Corvette ran flawlessly during this time with the first 585 "The Hammer". We ran that engine for two years with a best ET of 7.24 at 190 mph.

At the beginning of the 2006 season, we stepped up to one of your 728 cubic inch engines and at the first NHRA Division 1 Top Sportsman open we went to the semi-finals while posting a 7.09 at 195 mph. During that race we had a electrical problem which caused serious damage to our engine. You and your team repaired the engine and got it back to me within 7 days absolutely above and beyond service Thanks again!

After 3 years with our Bevis Corvette, I sold it at the end of the 2006 season and purchased a 2006 Rick Jones Pro Stock GTO to run in Top Sportsman. We are looking forward to running your upgraded version of the 728, which I am sure will enhance our performance during the 2007 season. Thank you again for the great product and service. We will keep you informed of our progress during the season.

I can sum up Steve’s work in two words “Awesome Horsepower”. Steve’s power took me to the Winners circle at the NHRA Division 3 Race in Stanton, Michigan and to the Quarter finals at the O’Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals in Madison, IL. It’s great to have a Steve Schmidt Competition 540 cubic inch motor that runs as fast as most of the 565’s and larger cubic inch motors in the NHRA Super Comp class. Competitors have told me they just can’t understand how I can be pulling up on them at the top end when our MPH is suppose to be the same. Others just shake their heads when they see 8.900 at 176 MPH up on the board and we tell them it is a 540. I put my father in the driver’s seat for one race just so he could feel the power in this motor. His words, “This motor never quits pulling!” Thanks Steve for making such a fun ride for me!

We won back to back Quick -16 Championships at Moroso Motorsports Park with one of Steve's 565's. This motor ran 7.09@189 m.p.h.. His motors are fast, reliable and real consistent. We just recently plugged in a new 632 "King of the Hill" motor and ran 4.42, 4.42, 4.41 out of the trailer at Immokalee Drag Way in Immokalee, Florida. The nice part about doing business with Steve is that he's always available to talk with you or help you when you call. I needed the 565 freshened for the points and waited to the last minute to send it back to him and he and his crew stayed over the weekend to get the motor done so I'd have it for the first points race.
