Steve and the Gang at the Shop,
Just wanted to thank you for everything you've done for us since we started using your engines! We started out with a basic 632 with Pro-Filer heads on it and every year we sent it back for a freshen-up and we had you do updates as per what you'd say would give us more power and make us faster. It's not often we've found an engine builder who would tell you what something would do for performance then incorporate it in your engine and find that it would go out there and perform how he said it would! On top of that the car was so consistent it ran three 7.06 in a row with a 7.07 in the middle due to me grabbing the brake a lil during our first divisional this year and the only thing we did was change the tire pressure no engine adjustments whatsoever! On top of this when it came time to build a new motor the whole crew at Schmidt Racing Engines were prompt and courtious and very fast (just like their engines) to get me on the road to racing again. My dad Wes Garvin Jr. and I Wes Garvin 3rd would like to thank Steve and the whole gang for their hard work and knowledge to keep us on the track and running fast consistently.

Attached is the picture of my Silver '63 Corvette taken at Pinks All Out Quick 8 last weekend in Indianapolis. I was runner up and was second only to a 400 pound lighter car injected on alcohol. Not to mention I was number two qualifier out of 450 entries. I want to thank everyone at SSCE for giving me the fast, reliable, horsepower in my single-carb 632. No one in the pits ever believes that this is a PG equipped 2700 lb. standard wheel-based, original bodied, 63 Corvette and runs 7.76 @ 176+ MPH with a cast intake single plane carburetor and no power adders. I am looking forward to continuing to work on my new engine program with SSCE

Steve,
Just a little note to thank you and the guys at the shop. I put the motor back together and ran the car at a Division 6 National open at Bremerton Raceway last weekend. I started the weekend with a win in the high roller Gambler Race Friday night and kept things going on Saturday, winning Top Comp and down to the final seven cars in Super Pro. For a total of 28 round wins for the weekend, 2 Wally's and nearly $3,000. in prize money. I guess the lifters worked! Thanks for the service and a great engine.
