One (1) Year Racing Engines Warranty Information

Please Note:  Our One (1) Year Racing Engines Warranty excludes all Nitrous, Supercharged and Turbo Charged Engines.  The warranty does not include return shipping/freight or insurance charges to the Steve Schmidt Racing Engines facility or back to the Customer after repair”.  All shipping/freight and insurance charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Warranty Returns Policy

We want our customers to be completely satisfied with their racing engine purchase from Steve Schmidt Racing Engines.  If you have an engine failure within the first year after purchase, return the engine to the Steve Schmidt Racing Engines facility with a copy of your original receipt.  We do not accept returns on any racing engine that has been disassembled and/or modified/altered in any way after leaving the Steve Schmidt Racing Engines facility.

Important - To Make a Return
When making a return please follow these steps so your return can be processed as quickly as possible.

• You must contact us at 1-800-957-7223 to advise us that you are returning your engine and which shipper you are returning the engine through. NO returns will be accepted without prior notice to our office.
  
  
• Ship the engine properly crate packaged, pre-paid and INSURED to: Steve Schmidt Racing Engines, 8560 E. 30th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219. Returns must include the exact engine originally shipped to the customer.

• No COD or freight-collect shipments will be accepted. Repairs will be made to the engine as needed.  There are No refunds on any racing engine covered by our One (1) Year Warranty. Customer is responsible for return shipping/freight charges as well.  Please make sure to INSURE your shipment as Steve Schmidt Racing Engines will not be responsible for any damage to Engine and/or any related Part(s) in shipping to our facility or back to customer after repairs are made.
